Conservation Crossroads is my independent short documentary mini-series. It features three unique conservation organizations in Indiana and their efforts to conserve wild spaces and things through education, research, demonstration, and public access to habitats.

PROJECT DETAILS
OBJECTIVE
The goal of this trailer is to promote the series while highlighting what the audience would see when viewing each episode.
EXECUTION
To create this trailer, I teamed up with the amazing David Hatfield who recorded the narration for this trailer. David recorded remotely using scripts and voice-over notes I created. I felt his voice gave the series a very 'Attenborough' feeling. I utilized footage gathered for all three episodes to create the final deliverable.
Originally, when I ideated this trailer, I wanted to capture footage from all across Indiana. However, in the end, I thought it was better to focus on the organizations and locations the series focused on.
I edited this video in DaVinci Resolve Studio.
EXTRAS
I am really excited for how this trailer turned out. The montage of interviewees is probably my favorite part. My series won the Fall 2021 People's Choice Award at the IUPUI Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering Capstone Event (formerly SOIC).
