A short video showing the Infection Prevent Virtual Reality Demo at the Indianapolis Children's Museum.
PROJECT DETAILS
OBJECTIVE
Lead developer Drennen Dooms invited me to film at the Indianapolis Children's Museum demonstration of the Virtual Reality app being created by the IU School of Medicine to teach about infection prevention in hospital settings. With minimal time for pre-production, I set out to produce an exciting video about the VR app and the interest it stirred amongst children at the museum.
EXECUTION
I had minimal time for pre-production for this project. I simply grabbed my Canon T6i and was able to borrow a GoPro for this video. I started filming as soon as Drennen and his fellow developer began set-up in the atrium of the museum.
EXTRAS
As soon as they saw the VR equipment, children were lining up to try out the experience, even though it was a bit academic and tailored for college-level students. I was able to get some great footage of the children with the headsets on.
