OBJECTIVE
Our client, the South Bend Children's Museum Planning Committee requested 3D models of potential museum spaces. The committee was in need of a professional means of displaying their ideas to donors, investors, and community members.
EXECUTION
My team agreed to model two spaces and created a finished video of the spaces to present to the client. As the team leader, I was in charge of managing all communications and requests from the client, while my team of 3D modelers created the 3D representations.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our team transitioned to being fully remote in March of 2020. We continued to work efficiently and effectively. I planned progress reports and client meetings via Zoom. When the models were complete, I sent each artist a list of the shots I wanted of each section of the build. I then edited the videos taken by each artist into a final, professional deliverable for the client.
EXTRAS
I had never worked on anything with 3D models before, so it was really cool working with this team. I got to see everything being built up week by week which was a unique experience.
